You should also choose flatbed for long-distance tows, as the reduced stress on components becomes more significant over extended mileage.
Wheel-lift towing is appropriate for standard vehicles in good mechanical condition, short-distance tows, non-emergency roadside assistance situations, and when cost is a primary concern. If your vehicle is drivable and mechanically sound, wheel-lift service is usually adequate.
